from 5,000 ฿ government fee included

What is a Visa Extension in Phuket?

A visa extension lets you legally stay in Thailand longer without leaving the country. Phuket Immigration accepts extensions for the 30-day stamp, tourist (TR) visas, DTV, and long-term Non-Immigrant O visas — but each has different documents, timing and fees.

We handle the entire process for you: prepare every document, submit TM30 if needed, pay the government fee on your behalf, and accompany you to Phuket Immigration Office. The standard 30-day stamp extension takes about 30 minutes on site.

For tourist stamps you can apply any working day before your stamp expires. For long-term Non-O extensions, applications open 30 days before expiry — start preparing earlier.

Visa Extension Phuket — Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a visa extension cost in Phuket?

Stamp / TR visa extension at Phuket Immigration — 5,000 ฿ all-inclusive (government fee already inside). DTV in-country extension — 5,000 ฿. Non-O Marriage / Retirement annual extension — from 50,000 ฿. Border Run as an alternative — from 4,500 ฿.

How long does the visa extension take?

Standard stamp / TR / DTV extensions are usually issued the same day in about 30 minutes when our paperwork is ready. Non-O Marriage and Retirement extensions take 2–4 weeks officially, but you receive an under-consideration stamp on the same day.

When should I apply for my extension?

For a 30-day stamp or TR visa — any working day before your current stamp expires. For Non-O Marriage / Retirement and DTV — apply 30 days before expiry. We recommend contacting us at least 3–5 working days in advance to prepare documents calmly.

How do I extend a Thai visa by 30 days?

A tourist visa (TR) and visa-exempt entry can be extended by 30 days at any Thai immigration office — in Phuket it is at 482 Phuket Rd, Talat Yai. File the TM7 form, passport copies, a 4×6 cm photo, TM30 registration and pay the 1,900 THB government fee on any working day before your current stamp expires. With us — 5,000 ฿ all-inclusive, no queues, about 30 minutes on site.

How do I extend my stay in Thailand by 30 days in Phuket?

Visit Phuket Immigration Office (482 Phuket Rd, Talat Yai) on a working day before your stamp expires with your passport, a 4×6 cm photo, TM7 form, passport copies and TM30 registration. The government fee is 1,900 THB and the extension is usually issued the same day. If you book with us, just bring your passport — we prepare every document and the fee is included in our 5,000 ฿ price.

How do I extend my stay in Thailand by 7 days?

A 7-day extension is an emergency stay permit available only after a standard 30-day extension and only with a valid reason — sickness (hospital letter), missed flight (ticket confirmation) or force majeure. It is filed at Phuket Immigration with the same 1,900 THB fee, but the decision is at the officer's discretion. Send us your situation in WhatsApp and we will assess the chance of approval.

How do I extend a Thai visa after 60 days?

A Tourist Visa (TR) gives you 60 days, plus one 30-day extension at immigration — up to 90 days total. After that you have three options: (1) a border run for a fresh entry stamp, (2) switching to DTV, Non-O or another long-term visa, (3) leaving Thailand. We support all three — message us in WhatsApp with your current situation and we will recommend the best path.

What documents do I need for a visa extension in Thailand?

A passport with 6+ months validity, a 4×6 cm photo on white background, TM30 address registration confirmation, TM7 application form and passport copies. For Non-O Marriage / Retirement extensions you also need Thai bank documents showing 400,000 / 800,000 THB or proof of income. We prepare all forms — you only bring originals.

Can I extend a 30-day stamp twice?

No. Each entry stamp can be extended only once for an additional 30 days at immigration. After that you need a new visa, a border run for a fresh stamp, or to leave Thailand. The only exception is a 7-day emergency extension granted with valid reason.

What is the difference between visa extension and border run?

Extension is processed at Phuket Immigration without leaving Thailand (~30 minutes). Border run is a short trip outside Thailand for a fresh entry stamp — used when an extension is no longer available. We do both.

Do you handle Non-B / Elite visa extensions?

Elite (Privilege) holders are served directly by the Thailand Privilege program — we can support with paperwork. Non-B (business) depends on your company and work permit. Send us your situation in WhatsApp and we will quote.

Where is the Phuket Immigration Office located?

482 Phuket Rd, Tambon Talat Yai, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83000 — Mon–Fri 08:30–16:30, closed on Thai public holidays. We meet you on site or pick you up from your hotel area.

Is the government fee included in your price?

Yes. The 1,900 THB government extension fee is already included in our 5,000 ฿ price for stamp / TR / DTV extensions. For long-term Non-O extensions, government fees are also included in the 50,000 ฿ price.

What if my extension is rejected?

For standard stamp / TR / DTV extensions we guarantee the result — if the extension is not approved due to anything on our side, we refund our service fee. Reasons outside our control (overstay, blacklisted passport) are explained before payment.
